Dog Walker – Pet Sitter (Part-time & Full-time)

We are currently recruiting for dog walkers to cover the following areas:

Area 1

Skelmanthorpe, Scissett, Shelley, Shepley, Kirkburton, Emley, Denby Dale, Clayton West, Fenay Bridge, Lepton and surrounding area.

Area 2

Homle, Brockholes, Holmfirth, Honley, Upperthong, Wooldale, Thongsbridge, Meltham Scholes and surrounding area.

Area 3

Brighouse and surrounding areas

This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive and focused business, fully committed to animal welfare and first rate customer service.

You will need to be an experienced dog handler, flexible with your time, to respond to your customer’s needs and comfortable with a diverse range of breeds, sizes and temperaments.

*You must be 21 years of age or over, have a suitable car, and have daily access to the Internet. (No exceptions will be made)

*Must be willing to work on a sub-contract or Freelance basis

*Have experience in looking after cats and other small animals

We’re looking to work with somebody on a part-time basis; however, for the right person, this could lead to a full-time career. Therefore your commitment to a long term position is essential.

Dog Boarding - Host Families

You will need to be over 21 years of age and at home most of the time (the dogs cannot be left for more than 2-3 hours per day). You will need experience of looking after dogs, understand the importance of client care and adhering to the owner’s instructions. You will also need a secure garden where the dogs can be let out, no children, no cats, and lots of spare time to spend caring for and walking the dogs. You may already own dogs, but will only be considered if your dogs are friendly towards others.

You will only be required to look after a maximum of 2 dogs at any one time, and these will always be from the same family.
