Huddersfield Pet Sitter Profiles

Bekki Jacobs

Bekki has had a varied management career from the civil service, home furnishing, home entertainment, through to business development and a few more in-between. One constant, has been her passion to support others, making life easier for them.

She’s had a lifelong love of animals, believing they need to be cared for and treated as any other family member. She’s always had dogs, cats or some small animal around. Working from home recently has allowed her to spend more time with her two cats, Willow (8 years old), Coco (3 years old) and a new puppy, Amber (a few months old).

Bekki’s passionate about helping animals keep their routine, in their own surroundings. Making it easier for you to do what you need to do. It’s important, to Bekki, that all her clients are happy. Both people and animals.

Sue Lodge

Sue has had a varied career ranging from direct sales to Management training which included designing and delivery bespoke training courses to some of the largest blue chip companies in the UK.

For the past 14 years, she’s been self employed as a Training Consultant and also in the property market. After a personal tragedy, with her beloved Myrtle, Sue decided to research dog food and nutrition to help her two new additions to the family, Bailey and Boo. She now runs her own dog food company.

Although her career has been varied, one constant has remained in her life, which is her passion for dogs. Working with Huddersfield Pet Sitters and coupled with her taste for the great outdoors, Sue has landed her perfect career

Steve Lunn

Steve’s 32 year career as a photographic technician reflects one of the two passions in his life, photography. When an opportunity arose to leave the industry it gave him the chance to devote himself to his second passion and real love - his dogs.

Starting with, breeding, then training and working with Black Labradors and for the past 11 years, Golden Retrievers. Steve is well known in local gundog circles, with 10 years experience as a Gun Dog trainer (to Working Test Standard).

At present he has four beautiful girls in his pack, Arrow (7), Willow (5), Fern (3) and Hazel (11months). From a very early age, Steve grew up with a variety of animals and his children grew up with a diverse selection of small animals and birds including gerbils, rats, rabbits, cats, chickens and ducks. Animals have always been part of the Lunn household.

Along the way, Steve has been lucky enough to combine his 2 passions to create his own pet photography business.
